How MT Sound Quest works
Five training and writing screens, and a handful of settings behind each one. This section takes them in turn, with a screenshot of every screen and a plain description of what each control does.

If you are looking for one thing
- Connecting a digital piano — plug it in over USB, the app names it at the bottom of the home screen.
- Changing which notes come up — sight reading options: clef, accidentals, one note or four.
- Practising one rhythmic figure only — pick it in the figures grid and clear the rest.
- Playing a piece you already have on paper — write it in the score maker, then send it to Sheet music reading.
- Practising one hand at a time — Rhythm and Sheet music reading both let you drill a single hand.
- Looping four bars until they are clean — set A and B and turn on the loop.
- Changing the language — Settings, nine languages plus your device default.
- Taps being missed in Rhythm — lower the frame rate; on some phones that is exactly the fix.
- Turning the screen upside down — when the cable comes out of the wrong side.
Something not working?
Crashes, freezes, anything behaving oddly: report a problem. Say what you were doing when it happened — that is what makes a bug reproducible, and reproducible bugs are the ones that get fixed.
